Just freaking beat

Ok, I have hit the wall of the last month.  I am so tired, my hips, my back, everything hurts.

I have my GD under control

I had a 35 week ultrasound, and he is measuring big they say, but not too big.

Here he is.

Gestational Diabetes

I got it and have to take insulin at night.   Crapola, but whatever.
The baby is measuring fine.  His heart rate is fine. His movements are fine.  I am fine.  i just sat in the OB triage for 4 hrs trying to get a baseline on this guy, but he is so freaking active it took that long!

I lost a pound since they put me on this low glycemic diet, so now I have only gained 23 lbs.  I thought 25 lbs was my limit according to my OB, however the gestational diabetes nurses said I should only gain 10 for the entire pregnancy.  I am obese based off my BMI.  Oh and I shrunk an inch.

Bottom line:    I am mad at the system for being inconsistent and the system actually seems inconsistent depending on your insurance.  So I am pissed at the system.
I will take the insulin, I will do whatever I need to do to make sure the baby is healthy, however, almost everyone I talk to thinks this is ridiculous.

Is it?  Are they trying to pinpoint the increase of childhood obesity, or are they just trying to make an emotionally unstable pregnant woman feel like crap.  Who knows!

Mother's Day

I just got to say, Baby Daddy wished me a Happy Mother's day last night and gave me a hug.   It made my day.

Just got back from a Newborn parenting class and I actually learned a lot.

1) They do not recommend baby powder at all anymore!
2) Diaper rash cream really isn't affective unless it is 40% zinc oxide, and hardly any of the products are.
3)  New recommendations say letting your baby cry it out is actually worse for the child later in life.
4) The baby should be in your room for the 1st 6 mos.  Not in your bed, but in a co-sleeper or bassinet.
5) Poop from breast feeding is runny.
6) You shouldn't cook, clean or run errands the first few weeks....have other people do it.  Now that is sweet.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and expecting moms!!!

Chinese Fortune Cookies

So over the last year at work, we order Chinese food every so often.  I have been taping the fortunes to my computer monitor and was looking at them this AM and realized, WOW!!!

Here they are (In order I might add).  You can analyze them yourself...

  • Courage is grace under pressure.
  • You will enjoy good health and financial independence.
  • Pleasure awaits your company.
  • Confidence isn't something that you get.  It's something that you are.
  • If you are wise with your decisions, good things are bound to come.
  • This year your highest priortity will be your family.
  • Love is on its way.
  • one of the greatest discoveries is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.
  • A beautiful smart, and loving person will be coming into your life.
  • The kind of advice we do not like to take often turns out to be the best.
  • You have a remarkable power which you are not using.
  • Remember three months from this date.  Good things are in store for you.  (Rec'vd 4/23/10)
I hope to remember checkin on July 23rd to see what is in store for me!!!

32 Weeks and boy am I beat

So I am 32 weeks now, the baby is the size/weight of a large jicima (I love that stuff).   I am always exhausted, my hips pop all the time and my groin and lower ab muscles are stretching and are always sore.  Otherwise I am great!!!  Oh, I have a weird rash/burn/excema on my fingers that the chief of Dermatology at my work thinks was a reaction to Doxycycline that I was mixing up at work for a study and I got it on me, and then was exposed to the sun all weekend so I reacted with a crazy burn/blistering thing.  It is pretty gross but healing at the same time. One doc said it may be Shingles and that freaked the crap out of me....but they don't think it is that!

I am feeling a bit overwhelmed lately  and I am starting to get a bit scared.  I am sure I will be fine, but I guess with 8 weeks left, there is no turning back!  hahaha.  I think the exhaustion has a factor in this scared feeling.

Baby Daddy and I are doing well and seem to be enjoying the time we spend together.  We are far from perfect, but it is way better than before.

My mom will be here in a week and I can't wait.  I have a lot to do and I know she will be a huge help and I couldn't ask for more!

Okay, I am going to take  a nap.  Happy spring and sunny days in SF.

FALSE ALARM!!!!!!`

It was as sleep mark....  YIPPIE!!!!!

Friday, April 16, 2010

And then there was one...

30 Weeks, and I think I just found one stretch mark on the left hip/belly.  I am praying it is a sleep line from last night but I am not so hopeful.
Where there is one, there will be more.
Devastated.

On a good note, I do not have gestational diabetes!  I did however fail one of the four tests, the 1 hr post nasty drink only to get 188 and 180 was the high end of normal.  So I have to have a "counselling" session on exercise and proper foods.  I already know I have been a lazy sack of potatoes this pregnancy, so I am going to really start swimming now.

Pre-natal Yoga rocks my world

I just wanna say, Pre-natal yoga is amazing.

One, everyone is pregnant and at different stages so the energy in the room is great.  It was so crowded today, more people then I have ever seen.  Maybe 15 women!  Man, 2010 is going to be a huge baby boom.

Two, the teacher is a hypnobirthing instructor and I am going to take her class in May. I can't wait.  This woman is amazing and I wish she could be my doula.  At a rate of $1200-$1600 she has got to be good, but she in not taking any 1st time mothers.  I guess we are a pain in the ass.  Check out her site: One Moon  I don't know if it is her voice, her energy, whatever, it works.  So calming and me being one that was all for drug induced labor, I am not even thinking that any more.  Don't get me wrong, I am still scared shitless.  I am working on my affirmations now to get rid of the fear of birthing that everyone has put in women's heads for so many years.

Three,  I really wish I could go more than once a week, but I guess the JCCSF thinks that preggo women don't work and all the classes are at 10 am during the week.  Too bad I don't live in one of the Pac Heights mansions, with some socialite from SF who pulls in $10,000/day doing whatever.

Four, Mr. Cooper loves it.  He moves around a ton.

Five, it has made me listen to my body.  I used to always push myself, and too hard I think, hence the 2 bulging discs.  If it hurts, DON'T DO IT!

Unfortunately my indigestion/acid reflux almost made me throw up and I burped so loud I had to apologize.  Jeez.....

Ok, I have my 3 hr fast gestational diabetes test tomorrow at 7 am.  Wish me freaking luck!  I can't eat past 7 pm tonight, so I may stuff the face, cause I was up at 4 am last night and had to eat cottage cheese and half and apple.  I hope that doesn't happen tonight, how painful to be starving, the baby is obviously hungry and you can't eat!

29th Week!

Woo hoo, as I write you, only 74 days to go till my due date.

Mr. Cooper, AKA, Joshua, Mason, Darian, Roderick, gosh, there are so many aliases that I don't know what to do, is super super active and kicks all day long now.

I have been receiving gifts all week from people and it is so nice!  I can't believe this is actually happening.  Thanks all for the gifts if you have sent one!  I got some bath stuff from (K and L) and I just wanted to open and use it cause I love the smell of J&J baby shampoo!  :)

Went to (J) birthday party on Saturday and it was a place where you can paint pottery and it was tons of fun!  I made the little one his first piggy bank.   I am so a mom already!  Once I pick it up I will put a pic up!

I will try to write more cause it seems like people are actually still reading it!!

San Diego Baby shower that shook the earth

So the neices threw me a baby shower last weekend, and we had a blast!  I got tons of clothes and some toys.

After the fun Easter festivities there was a pretty large Earthquake centered in mexicali, Mexico, a 7.2, and me and my sister (R) freaked out!  I am glad that I finally felt a real one!!!  Even aftershocks at 4 am the next morning, I was awake cause Mr. baby was kickin!

28 weeks.

28 weeks, and had my appointment today....

1)  Gained 6 freaking pounds in 1 month.  In the first 24 weeks, I gained 10 lbs, and these last 4, 6 FREAKING LBS!!!! So guess what, NO MORE ICE CREAM.  Sorry little guy, the nazi mom has emerged.

2) Got my Rogam Shot.  Not too bad.

3) I got 157 on my gestational diabetes screen which is 17 higher than the high end of normal range.  Therefore I need to do the fasting test now with 3 hourly blood drawls.  Doc said not to worry too much, I may be fine since the next text is more accurate.  I am blaming it on the month long binge of girl scout cookies and ice cream.  Another reason why 1/2 teaspoon of Nutella is my sweet fix from now on.

Holy Cow Part Deux

Putting on socks and boots was a challenge today.  One, crossing the legs is more difficult and two, I was huffing and puffing doing it.  Holy Cow...

I forgot to mention all my newer ailments lately.  Getting the leg cramps.  Not too bad, but definitely feel different.  The restless leg syndrome is around every once and a while, and I am sure it is related to something I am missing in my diet but it happens so irregularly that I can't pinpoint the culprit.

All I ever want is ice cream.  I feel like a tub of it sometimes, and feel like I am "letting go" of my self control these last months.

I have to roll out of bed now, and off the couch.  That is purty funny I may say.

Holy Cow

Wow, people I have now entered the 3rd trimester.  Well, some websites say I am still in the 2nd till last week, but what the heck, I am there... Holy Cow....

The baby is the weight of a head of cauliflower (2lbs) and 14.5 inches long!  Holy cow...

Weight seems to be coming on faster these days.  Holy cow...

I am addicted to Chocolate.  Holy cow...

I bent over yesterday and saw stars.  Holy cow....

Ok, enough.

See ya again soon.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Well.

Well people, I am pregnant.

I am starting to get new symptoms, I guess approaching the 3rd trimester I should have expected it.  I just wish the 2nd trimester was longer.....this is a good time!

Ok, so what's new.
  • People's  "input" sure has increased. Some good, some not so good.
  • Baby daddy and I are getting along.
  • Boobs are starting to hurt again, I guess they are growing!
  • I totally dig being pregnant though.  Wearing lots of dresses.
  • "Cooper" is a kicker, puncher, whatever and his favorite time of day is 430 am.
  • I got my stroller!
  • Sure do got to do those Kegals.  Damn I can't ever remember too!
  • Heartburn= check but not soo bad.  Indigestion and burpage= triple check.  I sound lke a teenage boy.
  • Gained 13 lbs so far.
  • Names under consideration: Dylan, Broderick (Brody), Brandon.   Stop whinning, but Cooper is out.
  • Skin is hanging in there, no stretchmarks yet, and not super dry.
  • Ankles are starting to swell very little, but I love my ankles so I notice even a milliliter more fluid on them!
  • Prenatal yoga is awesome and I wish they had the classes at night not at 930 am during the week.  I only get to go once/week.
  • Thinking of taking another birthing class, in addition to the $300 one I am already taking....and it is another $300.  About hypnobirthing.
  • I can't freaking decide on a high chair!!!!!

Registry (s)!!!!!!!

Ok,

I have baby registry's  Amazon and Target.  ALSO, please find the place that has the best prices on this stuff.  If you see something cheaper elsewhere, go for it.  Also, I have noted some stuff can definitely be bought used if you can find it on Craigslist!

Look me up if the links above don't work, and hope this is easier.

In addition, my splurge items I have to include...

Serena and Lily Gypsy tote, Sausalito Basket (in brown/blue with fitted sheet),  and Dylan Bedding Set. In order of desired...Gosh, this stuff is gorgeous, but expensive!  At least the Sausalito basket and gypsy tote can be used post baby.

And I also want a rocking chair, not one of those only for baby room chairs, but a rocking chair that I can keep forever.  I am in the process of looking for one, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Thank all of you in advance for anything you may get my little bundle of joy.  And if you don't get me anything, oh well, your love is enough!

So "cooper" has gained some significant strength entering the 24th week.  Kicking at 5 am waking me up!  He is the size of an ear of corn this week and weighing a little over a lb!
I have only gained 10 lbs, HELL YEAH!

Write soon....

Strollers and Car Seats

Jeeeez, there are so many to choose from.  I am sticker shocked as well, it is amazing what companies will do knowing that people will freaking buy a $1000 stroller.

I am 99% I will get the BOB Revolution. Not sure about the 16" or 12" rear wheels, need to go test drive again.

Just for those that may get confused, my registry is a WISH LIST on Amazon.com.  NOT a registry.

Now I have to hammer down the car seat.

Other than that, I gotta car!  I drive all the time now, so bad.  Oh well.

I have been feeling great lately, except for the occasional heartburn.  My belly is getting big and I have only gained 10 lbs so far!!!

Oh, Old Navy maternity sucks.....

Babies R Us

That place is a DUMP!  Baby Daddy and I went there yesterday, and YUCK!  Stay tuned for more info on baby shopping.  (K) from work gave me all her likes and needs since she is a recent new mommy, and passed on this info from her friends which was great!  (KB) you interested in sending me your likes/dislikes on products?

Car shopping is going, but not as fast as I thought.  I really like the highlander and the VW Jetta wagen diesel.  However, I want a high car for my back, so that puts the Highlander over the Jetta, and the Highlander is bigger than I wanted, so back to the drawing board.  BD wants me to get a Jeep Cherroke, but the gas milage on that baby just sucks.

Kicked in the Cervix?

Yes people I am getting kicked in the cervix.  Sometimes it feels like it could be "good sensation" and most of the time, it is uncomfortable, and awkward.  He makes me jump out of my seat sometime.   Well, it seems like it is normal, and common in woman.  Thank freaking god!  I have googled it several times, with no luck, and finally I got some reassurance.
Baby Center has all the answers.

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

I am a slacker.

Everyone, sorry for the slacking lately, but I really don't have much to post.  I am working on names, and this will be a challenge I can see.  Baby daddy and I are talking finally, but I am still concerned this is not forever.  Just the challenges of finding names, and all the other things are trying for couples that get along well, and we are not really in that category.  It should be interesting.

Besides that, I am sleeping better since I am forcing myslef to stay up to 10 pm....WOW!  Ha ha.

Update!

I have been feeling great, but the back is acting up again, boo.   "Copper" is definitely active, and lets me know when he likes things, and doesn't like things.

I am starting to get the indigestion/heartburn, which sucks, but it is not so bad yet.

"Cooper" is a banana and 20 weeks prego means we are halfway through this pregnancy.  Wow, it has gone by so fast!

The name game is now beginning and it is going to be so hard.  I like so many names! One day I like one, and then the next I am not sure about it.  The name can't be too much of a "white boy" name-since they kid ain't going to be a white boy...and it can't be too traditional, cause I am not that, and it can't be too weird, so the kid can get a job easier some day......AHHHHH!

Anywho, not much else to update on.  Write more another day.

It's a boy.....NO, It's a girl.....NO, it's SUPERBABY

All is good on the baby front.  I am holding off announcing the sex for a bit.  Wanna think of some names before I make a formal announcement.
Here are some pics to hold you over...

Some boxing going on in this one....

Prayers

So over the past few weeks everyone, especially me has become really excited about the sonogram on Monday.  We are all just excited to see the baby, and to find out the sex.

I am asking everyone to pray that I have a healthy child.  We, even I, seemed to forget that this sonogram is to ensure everything is going well and we are on the right track to a healthy child.

Please pray that my child has:

1 spinal cord,
1 heart,
2 lungs,
1 trachea,
1 esophagus,
1 stomach,
1 liver,
2 kidneys,

1 gallbladder,
1 pancreas,
1 appendix,
1 set of intestines,
a colon and rectum,
1 thyroid,
1 thymus,

2 adrenal glands,
2 eyes,
2 ears,
a nose,
a mouth,
2 arms,
10 fingers,
2 legs,
10 toes,
1 penis and 2 testes,
or 1 vagina and 2 ovaries and 1 uterus
all 206 skeletal bones,
all 640 muscles,
all layers of skin,
and everything in between.

Thank you.

Heirloom Tomato! Right on!!!

So the babe is a heirloom tomato this week.  I love those!!!! I am thinking he/she is a mix, red/yellow and green....strikingly eccentric and one of a kind!

I feel hm/her kick or whatever a whole lot now.

Getting those not so amazing sharp round ligament pains in my right side a whole lot lately, NOT COOL.

OH, I get to buy a car!!!!!!  I am soooooo psyched.  I am going to go this weekend and look for one, anyone wanna help me?  I need a smooth talker to talk down the price.  Too bad BD isn't around, he is super good at that.

Read below, but this one just freaking grossed me out....I mean, they use the word "pickling..." ewwwww....... "A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid."

How your baby's growing:

Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

See what your baby looks like this week.

Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. Our information is designed to give you a general idea of your baby's development.

How your life's changing:

Think you're big now? You'll start growing even faster in the weeks to come. As a result, you may notice some achiness in your lower abdomen or even an occasional brief, stabbing pain on one or both sides — especially when you shift position or at the end of an active day. Most likely, this is round ligament pain. The ligaments that support your uterus are stretching to accommodate its increasing weight. This is nothing to be alarmed about, but call your practitioner if the pain continues even when you're resting or becomes severe.

You may be noticing some skin changes, too. Are the palms of your hands red? Nothing to worry about — it's from the extra estrogen. You may also have patches of darkened skin caused by a temporary increase in pigment. When these darker patches appear on your upper lip, cheeks, and forehead, they're called chloasma, or the "mask of pregnancy." You may also notice some darkening of your nipples, freckles, scars, underarms, inner thighs, and vulva. That darkened line running from your belly button to your pubic bone is called the linea nigra, or "dark line."

These darkened spots will probably fade shortly after delivery. In the meantime, protect yourself from the sun, which intensifies the pigment changes. Cover up, wear a brimmed hat, and use sunscreen when you're outdoors. And if you're self-conscious about your "mask," a little concealing makeup can work wonders

Monday's Pets on Furniture from desiretoinspire.net

I just want to share this blog I follow.  Monday's are the best!  People send in their pics of pets on furniture.  I have been trying to get a good one of my kitty kids and have not found the best one yet.

Check out half way down.  The gray cat on the blue chair looks like a skinny Marlee!  And his name was Cooper!  Ha.  Monday's Pets

ITS-IT

So I just ran to the corner store in the pouring rain, no jacket, no umbrella, for an ITS-IT.  I wanted it last night after the Papa Beard's Cream Puffs I got for (K's) birthday, but (K) convinced me that a spoonful of Nutella would do the job.  Well, it did for last night, but once a preggo woman has something on her mind, it will not go away till it is satisfied.  So, Mint ITS-IT I can't wait for your 320 calories of pure goodness.

On another note, doc appoint went well.  Baby's heart beat is 140-150 BPM and he/she is an active sucker...kept moving around, the sound of whoosh, lub dub...lub dub...whoosh, lub dub... lub dub... lub dub...whoosh, whoosh, whoosh made me laugh so hard she had to take the Doppler off my belly.

Lil Belle

So I have my 3rd pre-natal appointment Monday.  Super excited, I wanna hear the heart beat again!

I did get my 2nd trimester genetic screening done last Wednesday.  It doesn't have the 95% accuracy rate that the full Integrated screening does (1st and 2nd  trimester blood screen, and the NT ultrasound) but I thought about it some more, and with my career I have been around xrays and inhalant anesthesia for 7+ years, it may be a good idea.  Hope to have results by the sonogram.
My sonogram is the following Monday and (A) is going to be the surrogate Dad present for this.  I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby!

I went out with (A) and (S) for dinner last night at a wine bar and the food was yummy!  I am trying to get out more so I can actually stay up past 9 pm!  I am surprised that I don't even have a desire to drink wine?!?!  I mean, I love wine, I love wine tasting, and I don't even have the urge, or want to drink it.  I am sure my liver will benefit from 9+ months of sobriety, but not sure that will cure the 10+ years of abuse that I have done to it.  I thought I was a generally healthy person before, but now, I really feel like a rock star!

So my body definitely is feeling the change.  Walking too long makes my hips feel like someone tied bricks to them that are swinging by my feet.  I just can't even imagine what I will feel like when I am actually huge!

Oh, and 18 weeks and the baby is the size of a bell pepper, so I am calling her/him, "My lil' belle!"

Someone notices!

So yesterday I went to a 4 hour 1st time home buyers course offered from the SF mayor's office and got some interesting information and I feel a bit more informed on what I need to do and I also qualify for below-market-rate condos here in the city!   Not sure they will work for me, need to do some research.

I had to pee 4 or 5 times during this class.  The class was held in a community room at the Northern Area Police Station.  So, I had to go get a key for the bathroom every 45 minutes, and the woman police officer behind the think bullet proof glass actually noticed that I was preggos! The second time I went out I said "Can I get the key again....you will see me a bunch today." And she said "Oh I understand, my daughter is preggos right now!"  WOW, the first stranger to notice I am preggos and not just fat!  It made my day.

Other than that, my hormones must be in high gear, because I am noticing all good looking guys lately.  Whoo hooo, my teacher of this class was fine, fine, fine!  HAHHAA.

I met up with (A) to relieve her of her week long care duties of (M) who has H1N1.  He is super sick and this virus in no joke people.  If you can get the vaccination, get it!  She did, and she has been ok so far being in a house rampant with germs!  We went to Magnolia's (a Grateful Dead brewery/restaurant) on Height St.  I had an open face meatloaf and fried egg sandwich  (which I craved meatloaf like 2 day ago....weird) for brunch that was delicious, however, Cooper was not a fan.    He was a fan of the Ben and Jerry's Coconut Seven layer Bar ice cream I got a few hours later though!  Not looking forward to getting on the scale tomorrow...

Tata for now.  Going to hunker down for this huge storm coming our way, supposed to drop an amazing amount of rain.

By the way, great movie I watched this morning!  Funny, laugh out loud!  Check it out.

Turnip

17 weeks and the baby is a turnip this week. SO not a fan of turnip....so I will most definitely refer her/him as mini Cooper this week.

Looking to buy a car, SOON.  I am over MUNI.  I am thinking the Scion XA or XD, small enough to park in my neighborhood, and roomy enough to get things done.  Anyone know about these?

Pre-Registered for my delivery day yesterday...that was exciting.

I got it, the baby can't hear through my ear buds.......so that means lots o babies are missing out these days witht he invention of MP3 players.   I do play Classical music at work and home when I can to calm myself and maybe I will have a baby Mozart.  I wanna go to the symphony for my birthday, and to start exposing my child to the finer things in life, the earlier the better!

Ok people, I am over and out.  Hope all is well in your lives.

Till tomorrow, or maybe later.......

Need your help

Ok, ok, this may be the stupidest question ever, but I am tired and don't have time to google it, so I am employing you, my readers, to help me with this.  Please find a way to comment below by posting as anonymous and leave your name or initial after your entry.

So it is good to play music, and noises, etc.. for the baby to hear, and I am figuring that is the radio, TV, etc.... So my question is,

"Can the baby hear the music I am listening to on my Ipod?"

Thanks all,

Not much to say

Sorry I have been slacking recently, but I really don't have much to report.

No nausea, and sleepless nights are reducing....Well, at least now there is a routine.  Asleep by 9 pm, up around 12-1 to pee, and then up again around 5 am to pee, and lately, falling back to sleep for a bit.

My face is kind of looking like it did in high school, as well as my shoulders and back.  Acne, but not really...just not normal.

I definitely have a belly now, and clothes just piss me off.

My back feels GREAT!

So far, I am having a real hard time making any kind of decisions but think I have decided to stay in my apartment till at least 3 months after the avocado is born and then re-assess then. No sense changing a lot yet.  There are enough "unknowns" in my life now, that stability is needed.

Over and out.  I will take a pic of belly soon.

Guacamole

Well, 16 weeks and the baby is the size of a avocado.  How exciting, that has to be my favorite fruit yet.
My mom is gone, and the house is quiet and sad.  It was a good visit.
A couple of new body things going on.  My gum's definitely bleed while flossing.  A pleasant symptom of pregnancy.  Also, some of my jeans don't fit.  My skinny jeans are definitely on the top shelf of the closet now, and my daily jeans are at the rubber band level, but a bit loose that way. I still have one pair that fit great....the pair that used to be huge on me within 7 hrs of wearing.

Things are not going well at all in my personal life, but I am staying strong and have support from my amazing family and friends, so you know what I say?

"If life hands you an avocado, make Guacamole!!!!"

Adios,

New PT instructor

Well, I am going to a new PT instructor and her name is Gina and she is from NY.  Today, 1 hr of pilates!!!!  She kicks my a$$ more than the last woman!  She thinks I am strong enough now that she can push me.  I only have 2 more months until I have to "tone it down" so I don't risk ripping my ab muscles.  That crap is gross!

I have to say, my back has been feeling great since the back n' belly pillow.  It even feels fine after my hard core workout today, which is rare!  Keep your fingers crossed, maybe this is a new year pain free!  Maybe pregnancy is working in my favor?!?  (Look, I am just trying to practice the optimisim I want for the New Year).
